I have been entirely AWOL for the past few weeks, partly because I was sick, and then I was falling behind, and then I was stressed out about falling behind. But I am well, I am back, and I am ready to buckle down and get things done.

Here she is, in all her stunning glory — THE DARK AND THE SILENCE, the sequel to A LANDSCAPE OF SHADOWS, and the continuation of Solara Barthelme’s story.

The book will release on February 28th of this year, which is a whopping (not) 39 days away! I have my own stacked list of to-do’s, but there are a few things that you can help me out with in the meantime.

• Read the full novel description, as well as sneak peeks one, two, and three. There are book one spoilers galore, so if you haven’t finished book one but you’re a daredevil sort, go ahead and read them. I love that for you, anarchist.

• If you haven’t done your reread of book one, get going!

• Add A Landscape of Shadows to your Goodreads or StoryGraph or whatever book tracking app you use, and keep your eyes peeled for when book two appears.

• If you’ve been sitting on your review of book one, go ahead and post it wherever you like — and then hit me up on Insta or FB with a screenshot of it so I can send you the special deleted scenes from book one.

• Request a copy of A Landscape of Shadows at your local library. It’s a great, no-cost way for you to help spread the word!
